JIC RELEASE NO. 931 - Vaccination Support Clinic for Families of Children with Disabilities; Mangilao mAb Treatment Center Change in Hours of Operation

COVID-19 Vaccination Support Clinic for Families of Children with Disabilities
DPHSS, in partnership with the University of Guam Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (CEDDERS), Guam Legal Services Corporation, Guam Developmental Disabilities Council, Guam Regional Transit Authority, Department of Integrated Services for Individuals with Disabilities, and the Office of the Governor, will be hosting a vaccination support clinic for families of children with disabilities this Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Barrigada Mayor’s Office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is the first of six (6) COVID-19 vaccination support clinics for families of children with disabilities. COVID-19 vaccinations will also be open to the community. Please see the schedule below:

Requirements for Minors to Receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine:

  • Parent/legal guardian must provide minor’s birth certificate 

  • Parent/legal guardian must have a government-issued photo identification (ID)

  • Minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

  • Guardians must present legal guardianship or power-of-attorney documents

 

Mangilao mAb Treatment Center Change in Hours of Operation
The public is advised that the monoclonal antibody therapy (mAb) Treatment Center located at the Mangilao Senior Citizens Center in Mangilao will change its hours of operations effective Friday, January 21, 2022. 

New hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., closed from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and reopening from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Patients may receive mAb therapy if they meet the eligibility criteria through a referral from their physician, a COVID-19 community test site, or a hospital. A Pre-Screening Assessment has been developed to guide individuals who may be eligible for mAb treatment. To schedule an appointment, call 671-998-4627 or 671-734-9203.
